Are you referring to Lamisil prescription tablets? Talk to your doctor about prescribing some other oral anti-fungal medication.

The best thing to do is use something like Neosporin antifungal spray. When you wash your feet, soak them in warm soapy water with a 1/2 cup of vinegar for about 20 minutes. Dry them off well and if possible, go without socks and wear flip flops/thongs for a few days. If that's not possible, change your socks often because wetness is the enemy of athlete's foot. If you had athletes foot for a long time, you might want to consider throwing away the shoes that you wore during the long time period; if you get your athletes foot to clear up and then you keep wearing the same bacteria infested shoes, it seems to me that it want be doing any good.

Use anti dandruff shampoo, a good one. Use it on your feet in the shower, trust me it works.

I know this sounds crazy, but my 15 year old son had same problem, washed his feet in bleach water, he never had problem again.
