Given asbestus fibers cause asbestosis and somel mining activities may cause siliconosis, why would not fiberglass airborne fibers not cause health problems as well. Small glass fibers getting into the lungs may never be expelled and may cause both irritation and health problems?

Okay, i have an upper respitorial viral infection. I cant cough mucus up and I cant stop coughing. My fever came down a little, but I want to be better by Monday { Xmas } Anyways the antibiotic they gave me was for a bacterial infection, not viral. The med. is called cefprozil. Also they gave me another called Dytan-DM for the cough and it aint working worth a flip. What can I do to get better?? Oh, I am only 12 yrs. old, PLZ HELP!!!!

+VERY small sore throat
+major congestion in my nose

How can I try to get over this cold fast?

I have had a cold/ headache for 3 days. I think it may be a sinus infection, but the doctor isnt seeing anyone else today and with Christmas being Monday, I want to be better. I am drinking lots of orange juice and tea and am taking Tylenol for the head and aches, and Mucinex. Is there any home remedies I should try? Thanks very much for taking the time to read this. Both my son and my fiance have had a cold that led into a sinus infection within 3 days. Both required an antibiotic. My baby girl came down with it last night, not bad though yet. We are leaving on a plane tomorrow morning at 8am, I am affraid the plane will intense the sinus pain and really hurt her. Does anyone have any home remedies? I am taking her to the doctor but her usual one is not in and I am affraid this one will not give her an antibiotic then we will be in florida without anything. I know about the saline nose drops and we are already using those and I will have her nurse or suck a bottle during take off and landings. Any other suggestions?

In the morning she has a lot of congestion, runny nose, and cough. As the day goes on the symptoms are less. She had a 101 fever last night. She plays during the day and acts okay, except for when she had the fever. Do you think she needs to be seen or is it just a cold. My daughter hates going to the doctor. She is really terrified. I feel bad for her. I only take her when she really needs to be seen. Thanks for your advice.

My mum has got to have a heart bypass, she has two small tumours on her lung too. Also she has water on the lung, and has had to have it drained off every two weeks. This is upsetting , and i want to know if she can get through all this.
