I'm 54. Have had this problem since moving to Richmond, VA (USA) at age 21.

From age 21-30, it was so bad I was taking 2 allergy shots per week.

Finally a doctor recommended a "simple, cheaper, solution". It was:

Try buying a saline nasal spray. A small plastic bottle of salt water (about $2). Spray your nose once in the morning when you get up. And once at night just before bed time. When you spray you will get drainage. What this does is instead of the drainage building up it causes it to drain out. By doing it in the morning, and late at night, you can control who is around you when it drains.

Occasionally, I have to go back to the doctor and get something stronger - but that is only 1 or 2 times per year.

Or you could be in contact with something that you are allergic to and would need allergy shots to desensitize you to it.

But give the nasal spray a try for about 2-3 weeks. You might be surprised at how well it works.

I can understand ur problems...

Well, i think if u check out for certain things that i list down may be it could be of some help..

First of all, Sinus is quite a "little serious" kinda problem for which u must give proper attention. As sinus is mostly caused by the large contents of water being accumulated in the head,

U MUST SEE TO THAT U "DO NOT" TAKE
HEADBATH REGUARLY!

Thats very important.!

Secondly,
AVOID DRINKING COLD DRINKS
that would prevent the semifluid thing from drying up..

Thirdly, TRY PLACING CUCUMBER on ur eye lids while u are sleeping or lying down. This would cool ur eyes and help in preventing eye problems.

Fourthly, AVOID OPERN AIR. I know its dumb but, what i meant was like keep ur windows closed while driving ur car... Wear helmet while driving ur bike or something like that which would protect u from dust, pollution and other exposed atmospheric gases or germs that might affect ur respiratorary organs...

I hope these would help u in some way or other..

Finally, just wanna say....

TAKE CARE man! And consult a doc if it still persists.

Hope u recover soon.

Keep the house dust free. Bathe often.

Mash a garlic clove - eat it.

Follow with a teaspoon of honey

Cut out shellfish, peanuts, walnuts, cashews, pecans, almonds, milk & milk products, eggs, fish, soybeans & wheat. Keep diary of foods you eat.

Try walking inside a shopping mall instead of outside exercise.
Get air filter for home

Hopefully, some of this will help. If you have Asthma eat tomatoes 4 times a week.

Go for anulom-vilom pranyama, also kapal bhati is good to remove blockage , i,m also a patient of sinus, believe me it helps, also go for a regular homoeopathic treatment , not the allopathic one , as it would create your position worse in future.
