I live in a town where there are alot of obese people that all seem to have stickers for disabled parking. I think if you don't take care of yourself physically, the healthy people that chose to take care of themselves should not have to pay higher insurance, loss of parking spaces (believe me this town has alot of disabled spaces) etc.
Any thoughts

My first assumption is a CO leak, but I seem to only get dizzy when I'm in my office on the top floor; there's a vent in there. Could CO travel through a heater vent? Could it just be the fact that I've been cold in the house all day and I'm just not used to the heat?

BTW, I do have a CO detector over-top a vent on the middle floor. It is believed to be working. Thanks.

I recently had sinusitis and was on Ceftin for 10 days. The Ceftin cleared up the sinus infection, but over the last couple days of taking Ceftin my tonsils were starting to get covered in white spots. A few days later they were covered in even more white stuff, so I went to my doctor who took a look at my throat and my very swollen lymph nodes on the right side (Very large and visibly swollen, although no longer very painful.) and tested me for Mono, which came back negative. He then did a throat culture test (Still awaiting results.) and said he thought it was strep throat. He started me on a 10-day course of Augmentin 875mg, twice a day.

I started treatment yesterday and today I've noticed that my throat isn't doing any better. It's more sore than it was yesterday, AND there's even more white gunk on the right side.

I've read strep usually improves a day or two after starting treatment.

Is it possible for the infection to still worsen for a day or two after starting treatment?

Its been bothering me for a few years but i can't remember how long. It doesnt hurt, but its just a discomfort below my knee. It has also affected me mentally in a way but not in a crazy way. I feel like the way to make it stop is to do things to hurt it like rubbing it against edges of things like tables or hitting it with my fist. I know i shouldnt do things like that but it bothers me so much. When it stops hurting i usually put ice on it. It sounds crazy but there is nothing else to do.Is there any treatment other than ice?

Well, my health teacher recently assigned my whole class a progect where we have to work in groups. My group is a bit larger than everyone else's. there are six people in my group whereas every other group has five people. We were assigned with the mental disease called, Obsessive compulsive disorder. Every project has to include : General information, causes, symptoms, and treatments. We all decided to take one topic to do. We added a topic called extra info abou the disease. That way everybody has a topic to do for their group's disease. However i am the ony person left without a topic since my group has 6 people. SO i really don;t no wat to do. Does anybody know what topic i could do that is about the OCD disease?

It's such a strange experience. It's like a very light headed feeling, I start to feel shaky and I feel as if I could pass out.

I feel like this usually about half 4 in the afternoon when I haven't had anything to eat for a few hours. If I have a lucozade and a couple of chocalate bars then I feel okay again. Is this just like low blood sugar levels or might it be something more serious?

OK, so I haven't been to the dr. yet but I want to know what I'm in for. I have the really sore back and my whole left leg hurts down to the arch. I've read a little about it--does it really come and go? Do any exercises help? Drugs? Surgery? What is your experience with it and what can I expect? What helps and what doesn't?

My dr. just ran a series of blood work... 1 test was an ANA test. A nurse called me today and said that my ANA was positive and that i needed a liver biopsy. What does this mean? I am supposed to hear from the dr. or another nurse who can explain it o me better on Monday, but I just was curious if anyone else had a clue as to what this means? Thanks so much!

Trying to figure out what has been causing my gallstone attacks, I have only had 2 attacks so far in 3 months. I went to the hospital on the first attack, because wasn't sure what it was. Once diagnosed with gallstones, should I have to return to the hospital each time I have an attack. As I have noticed that they dont really do much for you at the hospital, other than pain medication.

Round about August last year I found a lump on my head on the right side near the top of the parietal bone region, the peak of the lump can be covered by my fingertip and is almost the same level as the rest of the bone so it's not very big (people looking at/feeling it say theres virtually nothing there), and I don't think it has been getting bigger (although occasionally I do worry that it is). It is rock solid, immovable, feels like bone, and is not painful apart from when I've been rubbing it and poking at it. Several questions really: 1) if this were a problem, would it have got noticeably bigger by now, other symptoms, etc, 2) what is it likely to be, 3) what would be signs that I should worry about, 4) if i go to the doc's, how would they take a sample from it (can't see them getting a needle in it as it's very solid). Thanks for any help :) Cheers

I quit smoking on new years day (this year). Its been almost two weeks. i have never contemplated suicide in my life, but this week i have felt rage and anger (two emotions i am not used to as i am a very passive and peaceful person) and have had extreme suicidal tendencies. the last few mornings i've woken up wanting to kill myself and once i arrive at work i feel like killing all of my coworkers. has anyone expirenced this before? i almost feel like its worth smoking cigarettes than dealing with this madness. i feel like i am going insane. i would rather die of cancer in 20-30 years than kill myself because of this feeling!
