Barrack Obama is a junior democratic senator from Illinois. And as for being a good alternative for president, well that is in the eye of the beholder. I personally say yes, although he is considered by many to not have the experience, i think that might just be what this country needs... someone who hasn't been around long enough to get into the pockets of the bureaucrats. I like his stance on the war in iraq, that we cant be the worlds police force and send 20000 troops everytime something doesnt go as planned and we need to start finding a way to get out. At this point i think anyone would be better than GW, but i guess i am somewhat bias because i am a democrat from illinois. also he hasnt officially announced if he is going to run for president yet, although im sure that he is going to

Barack Obama is a senator from IL. My husband met with the man while in Djibouti Africa, and said he seemed fake and too good to shake his hand. I did some research on the guy, and he seems very cocky, and more in this for the win...hmmm I would not say a good reason for him to be president. I do believe we need a change of scenery. I am not happy with the way George Bush has ran things. I was hoping that he would be able to get it all together and figure out what we are doing in Iraq...(my Husband serves in the USMC and has deployed 5 times in the past 3 years and is working on a 6th)
Not trying to be long winded. But I feel like we do need to be responsible Americans and do some research about the candidates that we elect into office. Its easy to succumb to campaigns... they thrive off of idiocy. Campaigns are nothing more than rallies to gain support, bending, twisting, and ignoring truths just to get the popular vote. However it is very easy to see who it is you are voting for. You can look up congressional voting records and actually see how they vote and if that suits your political opinion. www.citizen.org is a free website that allows you to look up how your politician voted. I think that is the only way to become a informed and responsible voter... don't be swayed by public opinion.

Barak Obama is our next president, LOL! He is a junior US senator from Illinois. Aside from politics, he has also authored two great books, "Dreams From My Father" (a New York Times Bestseller) and "The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream". If you would like to know more about him (which you should, so you can be an informed voter in 2008), I highly reccomend reading Audacity. It's a big book (375 pages including the Index), but it's a tremendous read.

No I dont imagine that he will be a good President people voted for him for each and each of the incorrect causes shall we make historic previous and questioning this united states got here a ways is a a ways fetched theory. the only excellent element this united states desires grow to be a Democratic President. i'm searching at this from an un racist, no call view. which skill Democrat Vs Rebulican. anybody reported because McCain grow to be a Bush supporter that he would keep issues the exact same. i do no longer trust so, with understanding how a lot anybody hated Bush do people honestly imagine that he would make an same blunders?? i trust we ought to always have mainted a Rebulican in workplace because even concept McCain grow to be a Bush supporter he did not back up his rules one hundred% so I do sense that he would have made neccessary differences were they ought to were. Obama on the different hand is finished of Pipe desires and empty promises. regardless of his genuine campaign followers he were given further sympathy votes, and Bush hater votes. it truly is why i trust that persons voted for him for each and each of the incorrect causes. McCain who didnt spend one hundred and fifty Million money to placed a 1/2 hour bullshit documentary about himself on television. He stayed in the heritage quietly and approached his campagin in a non chalant in case you want to call body of concepts. i'm niether a Obama Hater or believer because i imagine no remember what race or ethnicity or beilefs all of us vote for yet another guy to sit down down in workplace and attempt to make some thing out of no longer some thing. people have spoke about now you'd be proud to be an American back, i'm proud to be American yet on an same factor we ought to always be a shamed of ourselves. those days vacationing Europe you yet a newspaper political and significant activities seem on the front web page information memories the position as in American we get memories about events and Madonna that's rediculous that proud to be an american can fairly be spoken of because we nevertheless haven't any appreciate from different ecu international locations.
