Hello all.
I'm ashley and I'm teaching my fellow AP biology classmate about muscular dystrophy. I would like to be able to tell them how someone who has Muscular dystrophy deals with it in their daily lives. I would be happy to hear anything you have to say.
Thank you,
Ashley

Hello. I am at 14 yr old getting a MRI for the first time within the next week. I have a problem with being dizzy and the doctors want to check my head and I am very nervous. I am always scared of things related to hopsitals because I haven't experienced much. If you could tell me some ways to calm myself that would be great. Also, I have a few questions. Can we bring our own music to have them put on?

Is it still bulimia or anorexia if you only throw-up every once in a while and you don't not eat the entire day, you just skip meals? Just wondering. This has nothing to do with me, its for a project for health class, so no negative comments please.

I have been taking prescriptions meds for osteoporosis for 5 years. My bone density tests show no improvement, slight worsening of osteoporosis. My doctor says it's severe. I have a medical condition called gastroesophageal reflux for which I take medication and the osteoporosis meds seem to affect my reflux, also I have not felt well generally since I've been on the meds for osteoporosis, i.e. aching muscles and bone pain. I take Calcium with Vitamin D - I drink milk - are there any herbal or over-the-counter natural products that would be just as good as prescription medications for osteoporosis?

I went to a doctor today and he was so mean!! I have had trouble breathing and I have GERD. He laughed at me and says, "Do you want to die?!" I am NOT a hyphochondriac. In fact, in the past I was so, so healthy!! I might have the trouble breathing due to anemia and the GERD. He was so mean that I told him that I never want to have to go to a doctor again! Is this a common phenomenon for doctors to be this mean and judgemental when you have certain symptoms?? I'm sure there are nice doctors out there. But I'm interested in knowing if there are many that are this uncompassionate.
