First, stop them from drinking that much if you can, second the biggest cause of death in a really drunk person is asperation of vomit into the lungs because that person can no longer handle their own airway. People this durnk should be seen in the ER, but you can reduce the risk of death by making them lay on their bellys, and stay up with them and watch them, if they vomit you have to clear their airway, but watch out they don't bite your fingers.

It's very easy for anyone to die from alcohol poisoning. Get the victim to a hospital immediately.

Please take them to the hospital as soon as possible. My cousin just died this weekend because of alcohol poisoning.

if they are knocking at death's door, about all you can do is get them to the hospital.
