OK this is weird but he flushed out his ear with peroxide and distilled water and a bunch of stuff came out, now he is feeling better. He was working with a bunch of particulates at work and wasn't wearing ear protection (shame on him). He is still going to his Dr. Appointment though...Thanks for all the responses

It sounds like an infection that has spread to his lymph nodes. If he is in much pain or if the ear is draining, take him to the ER, as this can become very painful and spread quickly to other parts of his body. Otherwise, make an appointment with his doctor asap. Be firm on needing an appointment right away.

It sounds like it might desire to the two be a small cyst or on the different hand it sounds like it particularly is a boil. attempt employing warmth to attraction to it out. Use a moist fabric warmth it up in the microwave this would desire to help no count if it particularly is a boil. stable success if all fails call the checklist!

Swollen lymph nodes from infection.
If it were me or mine, I'd do--

Remember, feed a cold, starve a fever.
Plenty of liquids.
2 grams vitamin C and 1 gram vitamin E, 3 times daily.
Echinacea. :-}
If it persists, go to doctor anyway.
