there are a lot of reported cases of staph in the town I live in...how can I help prevent it, for myself and others?

I have the flu for the first time, and have had fever all week. I NEEEED to get back to school, I'm falling behind on work. Besides that, I feel awful. TODAY i had 103.2, 101.0, 102.4. What's the best way to get the fever down quicker?

I have mild diarrhea and the upper part of my stomch hurts(but it is not heartburn).Also I can feel a "bubbling" in my asshole but nothing really comes out.help pleasse will it get worse?Do I stick to a diet for a few days?thanks

I get strep throat pretty often, but I don't remember my throat ever hurting this bad. It hurts to drink water. I can't eat anything because it hurts to bad. Would this be strep throat or something else? Also, my mom had strep throat a few days ago/last week, so that's why I think it is strep throat, I don't have any $$$ to go to the doctor, so I am taking the medicine she has left over, but will this help? Or do I have to the doc anyways...like I said...I don't have the money to go for them to say "yep...you have strep throat..." and give me a prescription (which I also wouldnt be able to afford). So should I just keep taking the meds they gave her, or what? Thanks in advance!

Also, I am 19, so my mom won't pay for it...I take care of everything I get..

Help! I'm a substitute teacher and I catch every cold that the kids bring into school! I eat healthily, take supplements, got a flu shot, and wash hands often, but I'm on my third cold in as many months. My health care provider doesn't have any suggestions. Is there a doctor in the house?

i have had a sore throat for a couple of days now and is getting worse , But the weird thing is when you get a sore throat you usually dont want to eat cuz it will hurt your throat , but this time it is different , my throa is worse when im not eating and drinking , when i eat and drink it makes my throat feel better why ? and how can i help make it better .

Ok my throat is really sore....I'll drink something and it will give me relief for about a minute but then it starts to hurt again

I have the cold that has been going around here and ppl said that it will last about a week.......ARRRR i hate sore throats...i don't mind the coughs but the sore throats!!!!!!!

Anyway i harldy ever get sick so i will be over it by the end of this week i think.

If u have any suggestions on either getting rid of the sore throat or making it not as painful then i will be soooooooo thankful!!!!!!!!

7 days ago now i starting running a high fever and all the clasic flu symptoms. Went to the clinic doctor diagnosied it as the flu. Symptoms should be gone by at least 6 days.
It is now day 7 and my thoart is really sore, wakes me up at night, super congested and cough up yellow phlgem.
I had just gotten over pneumonia 1 week before the flu.
Should i be going back to the doctors i was a pretty healthy 20yr old before i got sick. HELP!!!
