I recently posted a question about the flu shot and said I've never had the flu nor do I get fevers, and now my boyfriend is saying that I jinxed myself and will get the flu. Do you agree? I don't. Here, I'm not afraid:

I have never had the flu, I will never have the flu, and my temperature never goes above 99.4, EVER.

Going to be long so please if you don't have patience to read it all skip it. It will take about 3 posts. I will let you know when it is done.

Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

A couple weeks ago as service was ending I picked up my Bible and put it in its case. Immediately in my spirit I heard “Don’t sheath your sword”. I instantly knew what the spirit was saying to me. The Bible is our sword. It is our weapon against satan and the world. If we leave it in its sheath and do not wield it, do not practice with it, then when satan attacks we will be defenseless. The Bible tells us in Eph 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”.

I just received a flu shot yesterday afternoon. I worked out after getting the shot, then I started getting a sore throat yesterday night. I woke up this morning with a raging sore throat, headache, and sinus pressure. I'm also running a very slight temp. I also have some body aches but they may be from working out. I am not allergic to egg products, that I know of. I got a flu shot last year without incident. I may be sick from other factors, as I do work with the public. Does a flu shot lower your immune system?

I think I'm going to be ok! :) After a late-night Halloween visit to the Urgent Care center, IV fluids, intravenous phenergan, then a day in bed, I have made it through lunchtime at work! YAY!

Has anyone else had the stomach flu lately? How bad was it?

we ate a Tostino Pizza last night and I woke up with real bad stomach cramps and that was it ...then I heard about the recall and checked the empty box and realized it was on the list for recalled pizza. How long does e-coli take to show symptoms.

I have had these symtoms for the past 3 days: High fever, chills, body aches, throat hurts, head hurts, some nausea and a little stuffy. I went to the Dr. and he looked at me for literally about 30secs, didn't do any tests, and said I have a sinus infection. :(

We've all heard that *throughly* cooking food will destroy this bacteria, but can be "cooking" be associated with "microwaving"?

I'd recently found what seems to be my left tonsil ( not sure, having never had much experience with mouths, but pretty confident ) to be swollen, starting two days ago. At first I thought my throat was just dry, as I could feel a slight irritation as it bumped against the back of my tongue, but upon looking in a mirror...
Doesn't seem to have any discoloration, and it isn't VERY large, or lumpy. No soreness.
I recently read that it means that I need to drink more water, and indeed I've been drinking very little recently, but I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions. It'll be a while yet before I can see any doctors about it, unfortunately.
