i just found out i have mono
and i dont know what it does or what to expect
and i heard u can die from it
is that true or am i over reacting

Just drink plenty of fluids and relax. You're going to experience fever, swollen lymph nodes, sore throat, and fatigue.....sometimes extreme fatigue. Death from mono is EXTREMELY rare, even in third world countries.

you can't die from mono. Basically you get it from unclean drinking glasses at a restaurant or from kissing...that's why it's called the kissing disease. You will need lots of rest and antibiotics and plenty of fluids. If you're on college, you may need to drop for the semester. It will make you very tired and prone to other infection if you're not careful. This is an infection that affects the liver, and you need to be very careful and follow the directions that the dr. gives you.

Your going to feel tired, achy just generally rundown. it takes quite a while to get over it , took me about a month, as long as you are on medicine it wont get much worse you'll just feel like you walked a hundred miles going up stairs. Not fun,

did you go to the doc? You can be really sick from Meningitis but Mono is a lesser form of meningitis. You'll be lethargic but chances are you won't die... its really ok - -don't stress yourself out

you are just overreacting..i know plenty of people who have had mono and have lived..you will be fine just drink plenty of fluids and go to sleep
