at the present time there is no cure or vaccine for HIV/AIDS-but there are MEDS that some people have been on for at least 20years ,and you would not know by looking at them that they are HIV posivite,so if you ever have sex always use a condem this is at least far safer then not useing-and it reduces the chance of you have babys

there is a cure. FDA just is not allowing to test on human subjects. Aids is found in monkeys does not harm them though. However they gave aids to monkeys that did not have aids and cured them. They also cured monkeys that already had aids to begin with. Complain to the fda and ask them why so many people have to die before they release the vure.

HIV/AIDS is like the cold or the flu, only worse. By that I mean that it mutates. However, unlike the cold or flu which mutate once or twice a year, the HIV/AIDS virus gets into your system and mutates like crazy. That's how it evenually overwhelms the immune system. They've found as many as 25 different strains of the virus in one person at a time. It just isn't possible to make a vaccine agains that.

It is possible to slow the immune response just long enough so that the virus can be destroyed before it destroys helper cells. This can be accomplished with an herbal remedy or with the new drugs on the market called entry inhibitors. I believe it could be cured now with what is presently at the disposal of medical researchers. However, I don't believe they would be open to try.
The top AIDS researcher will be able to concur on my hypothesis of slowing down the immune response.

Ever hear of a politician with HIV? No. Despite most of them sleeping around. It's not available to us little people. Pharmaceutical companies make way too much money "treating" disease for a lifetime rather than curing it. Cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS are supposedly all treatable but not curable.

No, fortunately. Nor will there ever be, no matter how much money is whined for and thrown at it.

Well, really there is a cure and that is practicing a clean lifestyle with your opposite-sex spouse.

uhhhh, NO. study up on virology and see why it is not curable. I personally don't see it ever getting cured.
