There are a few things that can cause diarrhoea besides food poisoning, viruses etc, if it seems to be getting worse, then don't eat anything for 24 hours and drink lots of water in the same 24 hours, if that doesn't clear it up then see the doctor.

Not necessarily, but its a starting point. Avoid solid foods for 24 hours and drink lots of clean water. However, if you have a bloated abdomen?, and if it is a long time since you had a normal bowel movement, it could be chronic constipation. Sometimes, in chronic constipation, people can get what is known as 'overflow'. This means that the lower bowel is 'impacted' with hard faeces. The pressure of the bowel muscles then pushes liquid faeces around the obstruction. If this is the case, people generally need an enema to clear the impaction. If it doesn't resolve within a couple of days - go see your doctor.

You may or may not have a mild food poisoning... give it time, it may just run its course after a couple bowel movements.. stick to a clear liquid diet for the rest of the day and if you get a little hungrier then just dry toast or crackers until you feel better...no milk or fried foods--will probably make it worse.

Diarrhea has many causes, not just food poisoning. Other causes include viruses, bacteria and allergies. The link below explains this in detail. All the best.

You may have food poisoning but to be honest it is most unlikely. It is probably just diarrhoea and nothing else. I had food poisoning once and I was in bed for a week. I was too weak and sick (vomiting) to get out of the bed.

Might be something dodgy that you ate. It could also be a symptom of you getting stressed over something in your life. Take a few tummy upset pills and relax. Good luck......
