What do you have in your mouth? Skin!
Yes, you can get a Staph infection in your mouth, much the same as anywhere else. If you place your fingers in your mouth and they are Staph bacterium contaminated and you have a small cut in the skin, it will enter the body.
It can also be transmitted through sexual intercourse and oral sex. CAMRSA is often transmitted through the oral route.
If you are worried about it being a Staph infection, get it checked out by your Doctor. The chances are, it's probably another sort of bacterial infection, such as an abscess or root inflammation.
There's a great product that can deal with any or both. It's called The New Silver Solution and Dentists are starting to use it for oral decontamination, toothache and bacterial elimination.
You need to swirl it around your mouth for a few minutes then swallow it. This solution will kill all the bacteria that it contacts or passes by, because it also kills by resonance. It is non-toxic, patented and has amazing clinical trials.

Once staph gets into your system it can manifest itself any number of places. It can even be dormant for periods of time and when your immune systems get weak it will pop up it's ugly self. And staph of the mouth is very common and can be spread. Those sore tonsils are often staph infections.

Yes, you can. What makes you think it's staph?
Staph is just one type of bacteria...there are tons of different strains... so you can
S. Aureus is pretty common in the throat. It can also cause ulcerations in the mucuous membranes (MOUTH)
Just like any bacteria, it can become systemic as well if not treated.

No. You cannot get the stap infection in your mouth. It is only found on skin, most likely on your hands. It is only spread by skin on skin contact. I make sure to carry Purell with me to cut down on my risk of receiving staph.

No, it's coming into contact with other people. Skin touching skin. They just had a show on it with the close contact. The three most common places are schools, prisons and cruise ships.
