my throat doesnt hurt yet ... but feels like it could possibly be a tiny tiny bit irritated... Lymph nodes arent swollen, but my tonsils have gotten a tiny bit of a change ... Could this be the beginning of strep? My room mate is already about to be all better and has had it for about a week..

I've had all sorts of tests. and protein levels greater than 500 with varying grades of fever for 4 weeks. Tests have shown this is non bacterial. If ( as I hope) it is viral, how much longer can I expect it to last? I have done my research and am self pay. How long should I wait for more extensive testing? My doctor is out on medical leave and I have clotting disorders. I really am getting tired of explaining my situation to her replacement Dr.s and paying $ I can not afford right now

Ive heard very bad things about them such as: causes autism, contains mercury, not nessassary, all a ploy to get $ from everyone. I tried to look it up online and saw alot of positive articles about getting shots. I will have my baby soon and want to make an informed decicion. I also know that you dont have to get them by law. I just want to know the truth about them, shots, no shots, or only certin shots............
