It depends what kind of parasite, some can be detected one way or another from a stool sample if brought to a proper lab for testing. It's best to speak with a doctor though to see if there are any other tests to better determine what might be your problem before considering yourself parasite infested.

Other than thinking that you may have a parasite inside you, are there any symptoms you are experiencing? Vomiting, loss of appetite, weight loss, fatigue, nausea or diarrhea?
If you are experiencing anyone of these you need to see a Physician immediately. Yes, a stool sample along with running other tests can determine if you have a parasite inside you.

no i believe they have to specifially test for the presence of parasites/tapeworms/etc.
