That depends on the symptoms. If fever is involved and high then you actually need to see your Doctor. If no fever then just try multi-sypmton OTC meds with lots of rest.

Well, there's no easy way;(

I found through experience that the worst is over in ~ 3 days. I take over the counter stuff and drink warm tea with honey and lemon.

One thing I also kind of discovered though time..stay away from any cold liquids or cold food and from windy places(to avoid the cooling/drying of your nose and throat, which leads to itching and pain).

Pamper yourself!!! Drink lots of fluids!

hot chicken soup, lots of bed rest and fluids intake, inhalation of steam to clear the sinuses.
