I had large and deep mole removed last wed. (on my ankle)..was getting red etc so went in to have it checked out and they beleive it to be a staph infection..is it common to be tired ..nauseous from an infection like that?
he prescribed a topical antibiotic and cephalexin..
but I am so tired and wore out the last couple days..

The symptoms are more likely due to side effects of Cephalexin. Common side effects include fatigue, tiredness, and nausea. If the side effects are too extreme to function, you could see if the doc can switch you to a different antibiotic.

It's very likely that the oral antibiotic is making you tired; your body is also fighting infection. Let your doc know, you should be seeing him soon, anyway; may need to change antibiotics.

Does the incision site seem to be healing. Nausea can be that your stomach and the Cephalexin don't 'agree.'
