Your blood stream carries cellular wastes such as carbon dioxide to the lungs for excretion; waste from cellular metabolism such as urea and creatinine to the kidneys to be filtered out and removed; old worn out red cells to the spleen to be removed by phagocytes; excess proteins are carried by the lymph system to be returned to the body's storage system. Undigested food, cellulose, blood cell byproducts etc are removed via the gastrointestinal tract as feces.
