There is a HIV positive child in our house. Is it possible to infect other children when playing with them?

You just need to make sure that if this child gets a cut that they do not get blood on another child, especially if they have any open sores themselves. Other than that there really is no danger.

Everyone in your house needs to become educated about HIV and the means of transmission. I urge you to go to websites and learn more about this. In the meantime, casual contact does not transmit the virus. There must be exposure to HIV+ blood by an uninfected person who must in turn have a way for the virus to enter the body's circulation.

I KNOW THAT IF BODILY FLUIDS ARE BETWEEN THEM LIKE IF THE HIV CHILD HURTS HIM OR HERSELF AND BLEEDS AND THE OTHER CHILD HAS AN OPEN WOUND ALSO.IT COULD HAPPEN.
