Hey guys have a quick question for you. I was standing in line at a theme park, a very popular one located in Southern California, and I was leaning up against the stone retaining wall, you know those ones that hold up the "greenbelts" with plants and tress for decoration, whe nI noticed that on top of the wall there was a tissue with blood all over it. The back of my shirt had been brushing up against it. I don't know if the blood was wet or dry, I wasn't about to touch it, and I don't think any of the blood came into contact with my skin. What should I do? I am worried about HIV and Hep C. Should I throw the shirt out? Or will washing it kills any HIV, assuming it was HIV positive and let's make that assumption, on the shirt? Will taking a regular shower too clean me if any of it soaked through and got on my skin. Please help, I'm kind of freaking out.
Thanks

It is my fiancee & my custodial time to have his 10 year old son this weekend. We just got word that he is being picked up from school for vommitting. Our thought is that we have 2 younger children in our home that we wouldn't want to expose them to it, but we don't want to lose that time with him. Is there any way to prevent the stomach flu for ourselves & our younger children? Please let me know. Thanks.

I have a cold,,,can't get rid of it. Everything is itchy and watery,,,and I'm sneezing, coughing, sore throat, hot and cold all at the same time. I tried getting an appointment w/the doc. but he can't see me until next week. I've tried Tylenol cold/flu...didn't work so I tried Sudafed...and I still feel horrible...I've been drinking lots of orange juice too. Does anyone have something I don't know about that would help?

I got my cartilage pierced over a month ago and have been cleaning it two-three times on a daily basis with this antiseptic.

Everything's been fine until two days ago. I got a cartilage earring from Ardene's and when I put it in, everything seemed fine. However, every eight or so hours earwax or something that looks like earwax forms around it.

Is that going to lead to or is it an infection? I cleaned the earring before putting it in and for the past couple of days I've been putting the antiseptic but I'm still a bit paranoid. I just took out the earring and put my old one in and there was no puss or anything like that.

But what's up with the earwax/earwax type thing?
And when will I be able to put that earring back in?

about 4 weeks ago she was diagnosed with Strep Throat, she was taking Penecillin x 10 days, after that she started with high fever and sore throat again, along with vomiting. She was hospitalized for 2 days, was given Rocephen and Ampacillin by IV. After she was released she was put on Omnicef for 10 days, 2 days after the antibiotics was finished she started with a low grade fever and c/o sore throat, also glands very swollen. She was given Amoxicillin at that time, 2 days later she started with a fever of 102, headaches, fatigue, and neck pain. She was sent to the lab for a Mono test, it was positive.
