i am going to so you a huge favour right here right now
first off the HIV can be caught orally
but not from drinking from the same glass
second oxygen does not kill HIV
only very excessive heat does and i challenge anybody to prove me other wise
listen to me and listen good you need to go to a health care professional and ask a real doctor these very important questions which could ultimately be the difference between life and death you are clearly misinformed and need guidance from a trained professional not some random chat room...

No documented cases of mouth to mouth transmission... no documented cases of anyone getting HIV from sharing a drink.
In general, as HIV is primarily bloodborne and found in body fluids such as sperm and breastmilk... modes of transmission are intravenous, i.e., sharing needles, blood transfusions (although typically this does not happen anymore because of improved blood screening methods), anal and vaginal sex as well as can be transmitted to infants from positive moms during vaginal births as well as breastmilk.

No, HIV is has never been found in the mouth, even with an open sour in the infected persons mouth, the bacterium in the mouth actually kill most of the HIV, along with the fact that in the mouth it is exposed to oxygen which will kill the virus.
anything else?

I would never hesitate to share a drink with someone who was HIV positive, unless we were both at our dentists, or had *just* flossed our teeth.

No!!!!...You have to swallow gallons and gallons of an infected persons saliva to get infected, even then it will be tough. Only through sharing needles, sexually, and if your open wound comes in contact with their blood.

Not at all. My adult son has HIV and we share drinks all the time. If his gums were bleeding, and my gums were bleeding, I could catch something. Blood to blood.............since we don't have sexual contact, either.............no problem at our home at all. (Adult son lives with me).

It depends how much. If it was a sip then no if it was a couple of pints of drink then maybe. If in doubt take a test.
