When the temperature is 100 degrees F or more, give Panadol. Temperature will come down by one or two degrees. You can repeat Panadol after 4 hours. If temperature is again significantly high within 4 hours and the child is uncomfortable, give Nurofen. You may also give both drugs alternately every four hours, one first and the other after 4 hours. A recently published study showed that this regimen is the best for reducing temperature. There is no harm in giving both drugs.

Call your local pharmacy and request to speak with the pharmacist. Or you can call the prescribing pediatrician. They should have an on call service and return your call in a few hours. Or how about trying Children's Tylenol or Ibuprofen?

Highly likely that it is a bad idea. Try cooling their temperature in a tepid bath??? Give lots of fluids, even its only lemonade............. :0)
