I am looking into something here if a male 29 yrs old has no heart conditions in the family but seems to complain of pains in the chest sometimes and heart palpatations, he has been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat but nothing more. He is not over weight by any means, is it possible to be something serious or should he not worry about it are there some signs that could mean something to get checked out?

im 21 and Ive been starting to have migraine and i have ever had them before. I have also been having weird feelings in my chest and my blood pressure has been going up slowly. I might be prehypertensive. Sometimes i feel like all my doctor wants is my money.

Could migraines be a sign of heart issues

Doctors tell me that I have to take a statin drug for the rest of my life. What would happen if I stopped taking it. Would my cholesterol spike or just return to its former high level? would I keel over dead?

I am 47, female, a triathelete (I work out A LOT) and during a strenous swim workout had heaviness and a dull pain in my chest. I had convinced myself it was muscular in nature BUT after 44 laps I quit and drove myself to the hospital. After a work up that included numerous EKG's (several were abnormal), echocardiogram and a heart cath, my arteries are perfectly normal and the only real abnormality was a high white count. Now what? I still have this pain, BUT it hasn't changed character and so the doctors aren't hugely worried. Should I get a second opinion?

I am a 20-year-old female. I am healthy, not at all overweight, and get plenty of excercise. This has been going on for several years now, but whereas five years ago it only happened once a month or so, it is now happening almost daily. I will be simply sitting or lying there, and suddenly, when I breath in, I get a very sharp pain seemingly where my heart is. It feels like something poking or crushing my heart. When I sit still for a moment, it dulls to an ache, but when I inhale or exhale deeply, the pain sharpens again. Sometimes it lasts only a minute or two. Sometimes it lasts for over an hour. It's really starting to scare me and I was wondering if it's something I should be seriously concerned about.

ok so , lately ive been under a lot of stress and anxiety which was causing to give me palpitations , nwo i was sure i had heart problems so i got an ekg done and bloodwork and it showed nothing, but yesterday i started getting chest pains throughout different parts of my chest and it even felt like my heartt sometimes . and recently even when im not doing physical activity , it feels my heart is beating harder , harder as in more intense and stronger , not faster , im just wondering could that to be stress related cause it gets very scary when im playing sports and my heart is beating that hard , and also usually whenever i felt my heart i would feel the one beat , but now, i can feel the recession i guess you could call it , if that makes any sense to you , it kind of feels like i feel the original pump and than i can feel the heart kind of come back in ( again if that makes any more sense to you ,
could this all be stress related?

I am 33 and healthy overall however sometimes my heart feels like it skips a beat or misses a beat ? I cant really tell but i could barely feel it. This only happens sometimes and i could go days on and not feel this then it will skip once then go away and so on. I think it could be stress? What you all think.

if a teen girl has high blood pressure, what exactly does that mean? someone told me if you skip meals and have high blood pressure, you could faint or even have a seizure. is that true? if you have high blood pressure and faint, could it cause brain damage? if you have high blood pressure and have a seizure could that cause brain damage?
remember we're talking about a teen girl (like thirteen-fourteen years old)

I've taken my blood pressure for three days running. It came out first as 85 over 45! I was really shocked, and when i next took it it came out as 92 over 64. my third day (today) it was 90 over 50! I have checked this up and it is really low, apparently. I have no symptoms of hypotension apart from i often feel dizzy when i stand up. im not overweight, fit, eat healthily and do not starve myself whatsoever. i am a vegetarian however. is this it? otherwise, any suggestions?

Catching flu doubles the short-term risk of suffering a heart attack or stroke, according to new research. The increased risk recedes after the first seven days and virtually vanishes after a month, but the finding may help explain why heart attacks and strokes are more common in winter.

For about a week I had been experiencing a fast heart rate , mostly at night. Could feel it pulsing in my neck and chest. Kept me awake all night. I went to the doctor, and my pulse was 102, blood pressure 140/86. They put me on Atenolol. I take one everyday, but sometimes later in the morning. When I take it a few hours late, my pulse is high, and I get all sweaty and jitterey. Is this because the medication is making me feel this way, because I am not taking it exactly 24 hours, or is this how I would feel if I wasn't taking it. Or is it the medication making me feel this way, because they say if you stop taking it, your sympyms could get worse?????

Also the did a EKG, guess it was Ok, but isn't there other test they should be doing?
