An irregular heartbeat by itself is not enough of an indication to start medication.

Usually the doctors will want you to start medications if:

you are getting symptoms - lightheadedness and fainting, chest pains, shortness of breath, etc

your irregular heartbeat is of a dangerous nature

If this last one is demonstrated straight away - you will be placed on medication straight away. However if it is not as dangerous the doctors might want to defer starting you on medication until they have done further investigations.

this is no longer basic to seize an dazzling heart beat if it occurs purely sporadically. Its like while your automobile makes a humorous noise now and then, its not at all going to make whilst the mechanic is listening! that's recommended to ask your surgeon to have you ever positioned on a heart video reveal that information your heartbeat over a span of time, various days to a week. you're lots greater probably to seize what is going on that way.
