I have suffered from palpatations since September and i have had an echocardigram done already.

if your doctor did not explain your problems to your satisfaction, you need to go back to him and say so. You pay for his care, and you have a right to understand your condition, he has the legal obligation to provide you with that understanding.

It would probably be best if you clarified your condition with your doctor. that being said, most likely the arteries that supply your heart with blood are either narrowed, or clogged in someway. This means that the blood is prevented from adequetely perfusing the heart (giving your heart the oxygen,etc that it needs).

Cardiac ischemia is the name for lack of blood flow and oxygen to the heart muscle.
