Yes you can. My Brother was found dead at his home from a massive heart attack and he was only 32! If you are worried, get checked out!

Can you have a heart attack at 30, I mean what are your chances do you think?

It is certainly possible to have a heart attack at age 30 or younger. Several factors come into play, including family history, gender, history of smoking, hypertension, and cholesterol level. Click on the link below to calculate your risk.

Unlikely, but possible. There are some individuals with very abnormal blood lipids who tend to develop plaque on the coronaries at a very early age. They are at high risk.

Additionally, we are now seeing so many individuals with morbid obesity. I can't help but think that some of them are at risk for very early heart attack.

If you have a family history of a close relative who has had a heart attack under the age of fifty, you should have your blood lipids checked.

Poorly controlled diabetes adds to the risk.

of course you can have a heart attack at 30, in fact that is happening more and more often. Due almost entirely to the fact that too many people are eating too much and not exercising nearly enough. Other risk factors are family history of heart disease, smoking, diabetes.......lots of risk factors.
Prevention is worth a pound of cure tho....eat right, maintain a healthy weight and exercise daily.

You can have a heart attack at any age...as in heart attack meaning, your heart stopping. What's really sad is having to do CPR on a 4 month old baby who spontaneously goes into cardiac arrest in a mall :( But due to good care and emergency response the baby is alive and healthy :)
