Sometimes right out of the blue, my heart starts to hurt during every beat and then it suddenly stops hurting. It's done that a few times. Does anyone know what causes this?

My husband's cardiologist wants him to have a nuclear stress test once a year for the rest of his life. He is 53. I have heard that they can be dangerous. Is this really necessary? Is there a better test for the heart?

My family doctor says it is normal, but I used to not be this way. I am in my mid-40's. I had and EKG and they did not find anything wrong.

I can feel my heart beating fast sometimes..
I want something to calm me down, and make me relaxed, and let me sleep if required, but *not addidictive*
Is that possible?
Can I get it online?
Do I need a doctors prescription?
Thanks

I get chest pain and shortness of breath along with some lightheadedness tingling in my arms and neck and I feel sick to my stomach every now and again(two times a mouth). I have had EKGS, blood work (CBC and THS) and a ultrasound on my heart all test came back normal, I'm a 32 year old woman and have good colestrol and my weight is 115 and I'm 5'4'... I'm being treated for panic attacks with Zoloft50mg. I'm wondering if it could be my heart and not panic attacks. I feel like my doctor is starting to think it is all in my head any time I have one of these attacks. Please give some advice!!!

My partner's just been told that they have high blood pressure 160/98. How soon could this be reduced to 140/80 or better still 120/80?
Not wanting to take medicine, would hope to do this through exercises and change of diet etc.

And if so, what is the technical name for this? I had a heart cath procedure last week and the dr apparently found that I have "small" coronary arteries (I am guessing he means below the normal diameter for adults). I was still out of it apparently when he discussed the results with me and my daughter who was there with me cannot remember exactly what he said. I have a follow-up in two weeks and will discuss in more detail with him at that time but any info would be appreciated.
