I wish I could help but I'm not in the medical sector....but after looking it up I'm not sure I would want to take this drug with the warnings.

Just in case you don't know of the risks in American and in other Countries, please read the info in the "tag" I included below.

Mine is so low on the charts at 48 years old, that doctors over the years have asked me HOW! Because theirs is even much higher. Our children are also way below the levels for bad cholesterol. Our secret I believe is fresh veggies mostly raw, and fruit. Have you tried a more natural way of reducing it? Whenever I've passed this info on, others have also drastically decreased theirs.

Good luck.

Surely there is a pharmacy open somewhere you can ask; however, I take Lipitor which I understand is about the same, and I take one every other day and have had no problems. Maybe someone else will give you a better answer.

No, I don't think so, but anyway stick to your prescription anti cholestrol agent (medicine), don't switch to a new one, unless advised by your consultant.Continue rest of the medication/s.

FORGET CHOLESTEROL

If you do not have CAD then you do NOT need it

Cholesterol does NOT cause CAD

Statins do NOT work by cholesterol lowering

They work via ANTI INFLAMMATION
