I had a high TSH count, so I went to see my doc. I'm getting blood work done. What is the deal with TSH, and how do I get it back to normal?

Thanks

It is very difficult to achieve a natural level of TSH, however this link will prove useful:

Better go with Doc on this one. If I were you I would make sure that you read high on several tests before you do anything.

I got a high reading once and they sent me to an endocrinologist. He got all excited and started talking about radiation treatments. Luckily, he did some test and it came back normal.. He was sooooo disappointed.
