They were suppose to do an echo, the next day, but I did not go. Thought I was fine. That was two yrs ago. I am having back pain now, and I was also told to exercise because it was my muscles that need strengten. Today I was doing some exercise, when I felt a sharp pain like a bolt of lightening on the left side of my chest that last for about half a min. I sat in the chair until it went away, was scare, so now I am wondering if that is a sign something is really wrong with my heart. Not overweight, just lack exercise.

Hi...I'm 15 years old but this is not about me
I have a friend who is also 15 and well he just told me and my other friends that he has had a few (more than 1) heart attacks till now. the situations he has described were those when he was under some great stress(like him breaking up with his girlfriend). He has been to the doctor and he has told him that he might die if he has two-three more attacks.
But the problem is that this friend of mine is a huge attention seeker and i fear he just might be doing this to get the sympathy of others.
So my question is can a teenager have heart attacks like this due to panic or is he just making this story up?

Hey,
I've recently been informed that i cannot get a Piercing or a Tattoo by my Doctor as i have a 'Hole in the Heart'
And can honestly say i don't know much about it, except for the fact that if i got a Tatt or a Piercing it'd be dangerous as my body would not be able to fight infection, and could cause a possible fatal result....However being a stupid prat like i am i want a Piercing :D
And obviously i wouldn't get one if it meant 100% fatality, However i would like to know the Following on the subject:

''Is there ANYTHING i can do that would drastically lower or even prevent the chance of it being fatal towards me?''

Thanks for reading ya'll :D

A friend has went through this twice now. The second time they pulled all her teeth and she had a heart valve replaced. Does she still have a chance at getting this again?

im 23 year old female with high blood pressure. im on meds for it and it does help but im scared of later in life. im only 23 and already have high blood pressure. my family is not very healthy most have high blood pressure or heart attacks or have diabetes or cancer. i feel like im not always very healthy either and that scares me since im 23. my blood pressure when not on meds for it gets pretty bad, and so high i have nose bleeds get super dizzy/light headed and need like 10-14 hours of sleep a day. i get grumpy but when i remember to take the meds everyday im good. i also have other problems like constipation all the time and if im not taking birth control i go months without having a period sometimes like 4 months, but the high blood pressure is what scares me the most because i get chest pains, never have energy ect. so what will this mean when im older? i also have a fast heart rate most of the time anyway what do you guys think?

I have recently begun walking briskly in order to get back in shape and after about five minutes of exercise my heart starts skipping beats frequently. It isn't just beating quickly, it is beating irregularly. It makes me nervous so I end up cutting my workout short which I don't want to do. Is this normal for someone out of shape? I am about 40 pounds overweight. Could this be a sign of a more serious condition? Any help would be appreciated!
