normally you gotta give any meds two weeks to kick in.if you still feel sick after that time go back to the doc an change em .Read the leaflet that come wiv em an it will give you all the side effects and how long they take to kick in. Wish you well anyway

Are you taking your own blood pressure? It sounds as though you might be. If so, I think you should probably stop and let the doctor/nurse do it when you have to back for a check-up. Don't know which country you are in (UK vs US or somewhere else). If the medics are taking your blood pressure, tell them you feel sick and ask them if they can try something else. There are several different ways they can treat high blood pressure (assuming it is too high and not too low?)

It can take quite some time for the doctors to find the right mix/formula to bring down your blood pressure. Some tablets make you feel so ill that they are impossible to take so I would go back to the surgery and discuss it with them again.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

First of all you must learn to relax and not to worry the way you do about your BP.I had very high BP and it took several changes in medication, changes in diet and lifestyle before my BP came down.Mine is now considered low but my medication was changed about 3 times before it did.You will probably have to have regular checks until they get the correct medication for you.It will come down, but be patient.Incidentally when mine was first diagnosed it was 198/90,it is now 114/62.

Judging by your drop in heart rate I am guessing that you are on a beta-blocker. They can cause fatigue. Go ahead and contact your doctor to let him know that you are feeling sick. He may be able to switch you to a different medication that doesn't have this side effect.
