No, It is non of your fault, don't blame yourself, this happens to parents with normal hearts.
Anyway I am sorry to hear the trauma you have gone through. Being upset is normal.
Be thankful & happy with the His Blessings , that you have healthy son. Think of those who don't have child at all, what mental trauma they undergo.
You see it lies in HIS hand, all the time we are tested by HIM, and this is the most part of HIS test.
So be thankful to HIM. OK.Everything is going to be fine in future.

I'm so sorry. It's not your fault at all. Nothing you did caused your baby to have a heart defect. It happens and it's a lot more common than you would think - about 1 in every 100 babies are born with some kind of heart defect.

Babies are so small, but they are so strong. I've read so many stories (and even lived my own) and it's unbelievable how strong these babies can be. When your son recovers and grows up he won't remember a thing about it. It's much harder for us as parents than it is for them.

No its not your fault. This will only make you stronger, and you and your baby will have a stronger relationship. The holes can be causes by the genes of either parents. You have one very heathy son. This baby is just a special gift from god to you. Don't let this hurt you, let it make you stronger for your baby.
