I got a 24 hr abp device with me and the reading keeps flutuating!!!¡¡¡ Before the reading is taken theres a beep and starts taking the bp. When i here the beep i tend to get anxious and nervous and thats when i get high bp result. But after the reading is taken i feel alright! Whats wrong with me?? Is there anything i must do? Help Me

It is kind of like walking into a doctor office and develping white coat syndrome. You become anxious for no other reason then knowing it is going to take you B/P. Try to relax - I know, easy said then done. Chances are they will be able to distinguish the difference realizing what was happening - and of course let them know.

Just relax. If necessary leave it on another 24 hrs, sooner or later you will get so that you ignore the beep.

Simple, anyone in your place will be under anxiety with that bug for 24 hours!! Who advised you that stuff I doubt his competency. Please change the Dr. and consult a cardiologist might be he will advise a Holter's Monitor.
Take it easy and go to sleep.
