My husband had a heart attack 2 years ago and has experienced muscle pain and being overly tired every time he does any kind of physcial exertion. He has been back to the heart doc several times, had all the stress test and such, and the muscle enzyme test, all were ok. Also has been to the regular doc and had all kinds of test.Everything comes up negative. My husband was allways a hard worker-never lazy. Now he has to force himself to do anything. His primary doc says it could be from the damage done to his heart wall. Heart doc says no damage was done. Vytorin is the only medication he takes now. Could this be the cause even tho the doc says enzyme test are ok and so it can't be. Anybody have this problem or have any ideas that might help?

My Grandmother wants to go over to Dublin from Liverpool via plane w/the rest of the family for a graduation. She seems hellbent on going, which I admire...but it is a the expenese of everyone else's nerves. She is apparently in need of a pacemaker and is waiting for the surgery date. She a lot of work these days and is very demanding. I guess an English Doc. told my mother (who is really the main source of support for her...)that she should be fine to fly...but I am not so sure. We (our family) will be there for 3 days and don't know if she can take the stress of the journey. My mother doesn't have the heart to tell her that she shouldn't come.
I am more worried for my mother who has to look after her. She sounds like a nervous wreak on the phone and I suggested getting another medical opinion. I would assume that the air pressure change would be hard on someone who's heart cannot regulate itself naturally under normal circumstances. But maybe I know nothing!

Im 35 now.I just turned 35 in september but in August of this year I had a heart attack. I had 4 blocked autries and so therefor I had to have a bypass done. I cant believe at 34 years of age I had to have open heart surgery. My question is How do I go on knowing that at anytime I could have another heart attack. I came so close to dying that it was unreal. Im suffering from deppresion because of it so I would love to hear from anyone that has some advice.

I have had orthostatic hypotension and bladder problems for 3 years now. I am a woman who is only 26 years old, and these problems keep getting worse. I have tried every med. that my cardiologist could think of to no prevail. Well, anyway I moved and now I just have a OB doctor(pregnant) and am not on medication.
I am wondering why, if may case is the most serious my cardiologist had ever seen, was I diagnosed with orthostatic hypotension w/ neurocardigenic syncope?
By researching my symptoms I discovered my condition perfectly matches Pure Autonomic Failure instead. I want to know if there is a test that can verify if I have this disease instead. Why did my cardiologist never even mention this? I am so frustrated.

doctor says my atrial fibrillation likely caused by longtime heartvalve problem. They are going to try an electrical jolt to kick heart back into r hythm. just wondered if anyone else out there has had the procedure, was it successful and how things went afterwards. I would like my life back, to be active again. Anybody's good e xperiences or bad ones will be equally welcome because I just want to assess my possibilities and hoping for the best outcome, but preparing for the worst, is equally important. So, anyone who can relate to this, with something to share, I'd like to hear from you.

I have experienced chest discomfort for the last 6 to 7 years , have had numerous tests done and all come back normal, I am on lipitor , which I have stopped taking to see if that helps with the muscle and chest pain, I currently am taking prvicid for acid reflux. My blood pressure is perfect. I also take CoQ10 , Omega 3 fish oil, and a multivitamin daily. I try to maintain a healthy life style and currently about 10 pounds overweight , I try to lift weights 3 times a week and do High intenstity interval cardio 3 days a week. My resting heart rate is between 47 and 52 bpm most mornings and daily average is around 66 bpm , when I do cardio exercises it will average between 149 bpm and 180 bpm and within 2 minutes of ending cardio be back down around 100 bpm, I don't consider myself a well conditioned athlete and at 46 years old, am a bit concerned that maybe my heart should be beating faster to supply my body with the oxygen it needs, my doctors I feel don't really believe me. Thanks
