It's hard to give you a good answer from here only knowing a few details above and not knowing your history, but from what you've said, you're at very low risk for heart disease (you don't have any risk factors from what you've said).
That having been said, chest pain can mean many things, many of which are dangerous (all of the dangerous things are unlikely in someone of your description, but that doesn't mean impossible). If your doctor has seen you, done a basic workup while you had the pain and told you that everything is fine, then the likelihood of anything dangerous is very low indeed and pain control is in order. I would start with an anti-inflammatory (advil, motrin, aspirin, etc.) or tylenol and see how that works, for anything stronger, you're going to need a prescription.

There is alot ot could be.
Does the pain change when you eat or lay flat. Could be heartburn.
Does it change when you breath deep. Could be pleurisy.
The Doc told you about a irregular heartbeat that could be just to much coffee or mytral valve prolapse even if it is you will be ok.
If your not sweating and can work with out the pain getting worse. It is OK to see a doc latter in the week

I don't want to scare you but my cardiologist told me any woman with pains above the waist should be checked out asap. I had 2 heart attacks and neither were the classic pain like pressure on my chest or pain going down my left arm. When I had my first one the docs were sure it was my gall badder, because of the type of pain I was having, luckily another Dr came in and put me on a heart monitor and then flew me via helicopter to another hospital and I had 3 stints put in. So please have it checked out, better to be safe than sorry. Good Luck KG

It could be anxiety. It could be indigestion. If you take antacids does that help eg. rennies? Try relaxation and deep breathing techniques.
Are you a nervous anxious kind of person?
If all else fails see doctor again to make sure.
It is strange that the nurse would say you had a weak heart....what did she mean?
