6 months ago i had a heart attack, the doctor put a stent in the main arteriy, he put me on a med called Plavix he also has me taking 81mg of aspirn, last night i was reading on the web not to take aspirn with the Plavix, does anyone know anyting about it?

If ever you are concerned with meds doctors prescribe ask them! They put you on for a reason and they should know what you are taking. My husband takes asprin and plavix, together, The doctor knew he was taking both.

well... Usually, those commercials and websites like that say not to either because they want to promomte their product/medicine, OR it's the truth, but if it's something serious like a heartattack (LOL, i hear metaphor's concerning seriousness and heartattacks alot,) I'm pretty sure they're telling the truth, maybe do what I Luv Joel Madden said and call or ask your doctor next visit if it's okay to take those kind of medications.

Ask the Pharmacist at your Pharmacy. They actually know more about what drugs interact with each other than doctors do

No i don't know anythign bout it but if you are concerned just talk to your doctor. and tell him what you read on the internet. cuz if he told you to take them both well maybe its ok for you but not for everybody you know? just talk to the doctor.... Good Luck!
