So your heart has a murmur? I have a hole in my heart, was born with it. Thankfully I was blessed and the hole closed on its own, still to this day my heart has an irregular beat. It sounds slightly muffled and the count is a lil off.
How old are you? If older or young, if you havnt had a heart ultrasound you should have one soon. Its not good to guess your heart is fine and acting weird. Bad things can happen so quickly. Yes, Even young people can get, heartattacks! I have my heart checked every year, to make sure all is going good. Get a checkup, its never bad, to be careful!

Most people have some kind of irregular heartbeat - we are not all perfect.
I suffered from Palpitations a few years ago and had a comprehensive check up and was found have a slight irregular heartbeat - I was on Beta blockers for a few months to calm me down (as my heart was beating quite fast we well) but now I'm fine and don't let the odd flutter bother me now.
Eating a good diet helps and avoiding caffeine and excessively drinking also helps.
Does this answer what you were asking?

A bit more information? An irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) can be worrying, but it depends on how irregular it is. If it's the occasional extra beat and otherwise regular it's usually nothing to be concerned about, likewise if it's the occasional missed beat. If the heartrate is very fast and irregular, see a doctor. Several causes of a fast, irregular heartbeat, all of which need further investigation and probable treatment.

I have an irregular heartbeat and I am 27 years old
I was born with it and I am fine
In my situation at least, it is nothing to worry about it. My heart beats a couple extra times per second than yours, yet the extra beats are so mild they are only picked up by a machine

Irregular heartbeats can be caused by caffeine ie coffee or coke, tiredness and stress as well as mechanical problems with your heart. The best thing to do is to get your GP or practice nurse to perform a simple ECG. This is a quick, easy and painless procedure and will give them basic information as to wether or not you require referal to a cardiologists. They will also discuss your symptoms in greater detail.

Hi. What kind of a question is that?
Look up google> Irregular heart beat and you might find a million if not billion pages on it.
You need to be specific about the problem. It depends on age, type of irregularity and symptoms of the patient, background history and other things whic hare more specific to different problems.
Few answers : Atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, Paroxysmal AF, Tachycardias, bradycardias, long pauses, VF (nearly dead/dying patient) and many more.
I think you need to be more specific.

I have one of those. It beats and then it stops and double beats to make up for the missed beats. But I have been checked and wore a holter monitor for 24 hours. It doesn't pause long enough for a pace maker. Thank goodness!

Suffered for years with it. Its aggravated by stress, caffeine, smoking and being over weight. I had an ECG which checks the heart and my doc said everything was fine and to try and relax more.
