I had my blood pressure taken today at the doctor's office, before seeing the doctor. I'd say I was moderately to highly agitated at the time, becaues I was seeing my ob/gyn and I always tend to get agitated thinking about these exams. :0
However, despite my emotional state, my blood pressure reading was only 120/74! Would it be logical to say that if my blood pressure is "normal" when I'm upset and nervous, that it's probably below-normal when I'm going about my daily (non-upsetting) life activities? :)
I've never had a problem with high blood pressure, so this isn't about that. I'm just kind of amazed that my BP doesn't shoot up when I'm all nervous. And it makes me wonder what the heck my BP is like when I'm RELAXED!
Thoughts, anyone? :)
