Ask your doctor. Meds such as Nexium, Protonix, Aciphex, etc are very effective in relieving reflux.

I'm gonna guess that you mean Acid Reflux Disease or GERDS. There are several things you can do to control the acid from backing up and causing heartburn and pressure from gas building inside. Follow a diet that doesn't have alot of spicy or hard to digest foods, apples are one example of a fruit that is hard to digest. Also, Tums or another antacid helps also. Remain in an upright position after eating for at least an hour, allowing gravity to play a part in your digestion. You may have a Hiatal hernia instead of Acid Reflux, the symptoms are very similar. Contact a doc to determine which one it is. Good luck.
