Medically you will be fine for air travel. You sure are young to be having a pacemaker. I know things can happen at any age but you are the youngest person I have heard of. God Bless.

my friends grandfather has a pacemaker and he's been on a plane several times with no problem...from the pacemaker at least.

he had a bit of a problem with the security guards who scanned him and made him strip because they didn't realize he had a pacemaker.

so if you do fly, remember to warn the idiots that you do indeed have it, for your sake.

No prob, just stay away from the galley (where they prep food, cuz there are microwaves there). High electromagnetic fields can cause disruption, but they have to be very high, and because the fields decrease as the inverse square of distance, even moving a few inches from the source makes a big difference. Just don't put your chest up to a microwave or high voltage power line, and you'll be fine.

talk to your dr. about traveling. My dad had one and carried a card explaining what he had. I can always remember that we would go through security but my dad would stop talk to someone then they would go in a room. I asked my mom once why, they would pat him down since he couldn't go through the detector like the rest of us.
Anyway yes you can travel on a plane as long as you are healthly to withstand a vacation

Since you have a PPM (permanent pace maker), you can easily travel. However ask your consultant about the life of pace maker.
