I got a diabetes test done earler in the week and had the FPG test and the OGTT Test done. In the FPG test I got a reading of 116, and then after I drank that liquid which is the OGTT test I got a reading of 86. What does this mean? I know that since I am between 100-126 for the FPG test that says I am pre-diabetic, but for the OGTT test I am supposed to be between 140-199 to be considered a pre-diabetic. I am worried so can someone please help me. THANKS!!

I know from being told by a member here on Yahoo answeres that u can use bittermelon to lower bloodsugars levels, I also have done research and found out this information is true. But, bittermelon is hard to drink , even when mixing it with tomatoe and cucumber it is very thick. Can I mix any thing with it to make it thinner and possibly sweeter and still get the same blood sugar lowering affects. I would love to have the woman or gentleman that originally gave me this information answer this. But if someone else is familiar with bittermelon and the way it works.

Today this lady gave me a sample of the sugar free homemade yogurt her company sells.

I thought it was good, but a tad too sweet. My husband said it was very tart.

The woman said to me in private that I should have my husband tested for Diabetes because Diabetics often find sweet things taste tart to them.

If you are a Diabetic my question is, do sweet things taste tart to you? Is what she said true?

My heart races all day. I feel that it is due to one of the following: sugar swings, possible excess insulin, reactive hypoglycemia, just plain hypoglycemia, too much circulating adrenaline from too much anxiety and too much of all the above happening too often, etc.

I am going to see a doc next week, but I doubt it will do any good. Here's my question--since this makes it very, very hard to be calm and sit still, how can one slow this down? A sugar pill? Milk makes it worse. Eating anything makes it worse also. Tranquilizers won't work b/c I can't be tranqulized if I'm trying to do something productive like work or drive or anything like that.

Any ideas?

A 50yr old male with occassional dysfunction gets a couple of 17 yr old girlfriends and in his eagerness to impress tries viagra and andross . Result was improved performance with frequent sexual activity lasting 1 to 4 hours and only a 20 to 30 minute gap between erections. Weight loss of approximately 9 kilos over a 3 month period allowed blood sugar levels to remain normal without the use of metformin(500mg x 2 daily previously) even after consumption of coke and candy/chocolate. BP reduced to 130/90 from 150/120 and hair loss halted with minor new hair growth. So...was it the weight loss, the increased metabolic rate induced by the regular exercise that allowed for the removal of medication or is he deluded and the problems will return????

My sister is diabetic but she is not on a strict diet. She eats whatever she wants when she wants and just takes more insuline to make up for it. I dont feel that that is safe. What should I do, is she being safe or not? Is it safe for her? I have heard that its not good to do that with your body? Thanks for your help.

My husband is in the hospital having back surgery so I can't talk to him....can this number be high because of stress???? I just want my ENTIRE family to be healthy....sorry I'm rambling!
