People are saying that stress will raise the blood sugar levels, but that is for them, not necessarily for everyone. For me, stress can make my blood sugars go either way: high or low, raise or lower it. And the same stressor at different times will do something different. So, I never know what it is going to do for me until it happens. That's why I watch my blood sugar closely, especially when I am stressed or sick. I normally test about 4-6 times a day; more when stressed or sick.

Exercise is supposed to lower the blood sugar, but it raises it with me, at least right away. Then in about an hour or so after done exercising, it lowers considerably.
