Diabetes does not yet have a cure for it. The disease is actually caused by a number of reasons. These reasons include Pancreas stop working, Not producing enough insulin, auto immune reaction to insulin producing beta cells.. etc etc..

how ever depending on the type of diabetes that you have and how severe it is will tell you whether you will be able to take pills for it, or have to directly take shots of insulin for the rest of your life.

now the only way to really prevent diabetes (and not sayign that it will always work) but make sure you get plenty of excercise and eat well.

If one has type 2 diabetes, and overweight. Many times with weight loss into the acceptable range for body height and bone structure. Will rid the body of diabetes. One can manage with exercises and proper diet. Type 1 diabetes is never cured, requires, constant maintains, evaluation, sufficient sleep, exercises, and very controlled, lots of self discipline with life style.

That depends on your definition of 'cured' and whether you're talking about type 1 or type 2. Type 2 can be controlled to the point of being 'effectively' cured by controlling weight, eating right, and exercising. Here's more:

For type I and type II diabetics (and those who are overweight and could potentially become diabetic). Copy and bookmark the webpages I‘ve listed below… they are invaluable for those with diabetes and/or weight problems...

I've found a wonderful book that will help you control your diabetes and minimize or even eliminate the complications. Some folks who became diabetic due to poor diet and obesity are effectively cured by following the advice in this book. I'm a type II (inherited), but it helps all types, especially those who became diabetic due to poor eating habits. It's by an author who has really done his homework, Patrick Quillin, Phd. It's called, "The Diabetes Improvement Program". I have tried his suggestions and found them to be very helpful. I have no complications whatsoever and my blood sugar levels are quite stable. Yes, I still have to take Metformin (Glucophage) daily, but it's the minimum dosage (500mg) and I only have to take it twice a day. I have been off Metformin for as much as a week, but this was with vigorous exercise. Many, what I call, non-hereditary type IIs (those that don't have a close relative who had it) have gotten off medication completely, just with diet, exercise, and supplements. So, in some instances, it most certainly can be 'effectively' cured. Read more about it here:

The book explains what's going on in our system and what to do about it. It's really easy and inexpensive. It's basically diet, supplements, and exercise. For example, did you know that cinnamon helps blood sugar absorption? It also controls cholesterol and triglycerides. This is according to the USDA:

So far I the cures I tried r scams for making Mass profit from the suffering of diabetec people who like me r desperate for help, health and dying painful slow death. Heart attack, kidney failure, amputation, blindness, lethargy, r all the real risk linked with diabetes. Every few months or year thy show some hope that a new medication might cure all or most but later on just scan to devour funding. Pharma cooperation have a lot of profit from diabeyec lifetime medication, insulin so thy do everything to confuse, hide, buy anyone who has genuine cure. Thy want constant profit forever. So many home remedies but no real cure. Some reversed with 800 calorie diet but it is effectively starvation. Some claim that pancreas translation or injecting beta cell r cure but then lifetime of immune suppression medication, again just switching from one type to another medications. I am fedup if trying fake cure, remedies, daily medications. It ruined my career, my optimism, my trust on God.

It seems to be you can control it and live like a person who is not having diabetes. Food Control and regular excercise will help a lot. I have diagnosed diabetes one year ago and since then I am keeping it below 110....Before knowing about diabetes, I was always feeling sick. After the diagnosis, I feel better as I know what is going on and can be controlled......

Diabetes cannot be cured. It is the pancreas producing too little insulin. However, diabetes type II is often caused by diet and lifestyle and so can be eliminated by changing both of these things. Both types can be controlled by medication and lifestyle changes.

Yes but not by doctors that need you to have it to fund their greed. They have had many methods that have cured diabetes but the pharmaceutical companies, doctors, insurance companies, food producers, etc. would be hurt badly by a cure so no one is manufacturing the best medicines. Most medicines produced for diabetes affects you liver as most new medicines. Doctors hate your liver and so do the pharmaceutical companies that produce almost every drug with compounds that damage the liver. Doctors are not there to cure they are there to treat. If they cured anything they wouldn't be needed so they choose to treat.
