one half of cup of oatmeal one half cup of juice and a coffee black or sweetened with splenda, and sugar free creamer, or 1 slice of bacon one wheat toast, one portion of eggbeaters, 1 tablespoon jelly or jam. one sausage biscuit skip the cheese to much protein can be harmful. lunch 1 cup of soup your choice. a small salad 4 crackers. half of cup of peaches preferably fresh. or baked chicken sandwich no cheese. 2 small cookies or a kids size milkshake. dinner baked fish or chicken with Itallian green beans,1starch such as corn, or potatoes, but limit to half a cup steamed squash or steamed brocolli. small roll. any of the foods that are steamed are good for you except go light on the potatoes, corn, rice, and avoid all white breads, mac and cheese are not good carbs so I would limit those as well, when you eat pinto beans, lima, white, blakeyed peas that is considered half starch and half protein so I wouldnt eat meat along with beans, if you do so then very little. for sancks try peanuts, or half peanut butter sandwich you can also have cheese sticks but watch the cheese as it has cholesterol and will run it up. avoid all eggs except egg beaters they are good scrambled. try to eat three times per day. 3 snacks such as celery sticks. sugar free jello. at before you go to bed have a half cup cottage cheese half cup of fruit, or 3 cups of popcorn. also until you can get the hang of this you can buy healthy choice meals, dont go over 35-45 carbs you can read on the back of it how many carbs they have in them. also splenda has a wonderful recipe for baked apple pie and the cheesecake is good to. splenda for baking rises better. good luck to you hope this helps for you
