My mom is diabetic, and we can't seem to find out if tomatoes have any carbohydrates in them. She loves them, and we would like any feedback so we know how much of them she can eat. Thanks in advance.

A couple of time I have had a few sugary drinks without eating first. About a half an hour afterwards I get light headed, break out in a cold sweat, and have an URGENT need to get something to eat and drink. Then tonight i was at work and had a sugary drink, my hand started to tingle and I felt very weak (felt like i was going to drop my glass) and had to sit down quickly. I felt like i was floating almost. It was a very scary feeling and I was wondering if I might be diabetic? Any thoughts

I was shopping online for some seamless socks for my daughter who is extremely picky about the seam on any pair of socks. In my search, I came across more than one connection of seamless socks and diabetes. Then I asked my brother in law who has diabetes if he has problems with the seams in his socks. He said he can't stand the seams and has to have seamless socks or he wont wear them. My daughters father is borderline diabetic, and it runs in my family, however I am not. Is my daughter just being the picky little princess I think she is, or could there be a problem?

and told that I would always have to be on medication for my cholesterol because of my diabetes. Well, it has started causing extreme cramping and muscle tightness in my back and abdominal. I can't do yoga anymore, I have trouble walking and working out because my calves are cramping. Basically the only time I am not in pain is when I am huddled under all the blankets in the house watching TV. I am not willing to live my life this way, so I have stopped taking it. The question is - anyone else in this boat? Anyone with diabetes who has lowered your blood sugar naturally? How?

My doctor called me with these today. He said I was just above the level required to be considered hypoglycemic, but from what I have read online, the level below which your blood sugar level must fall to be considered hypoglycemic is 70, not 60 as he suggested. I am hoping a doctor or lab tech will read this. Thanks!

I had blood drawn before drinking the 75g (I think that's the right amount) of a glucose solution.

Fasting - 78
1 hour- 101
2 hours- 91
3 hours- 78
4 hours- 61
5 hours- 73

Thanks for any light you can shed on this!

The last 2 friday's I have went out to eat and right after eating...

I start getting really cold (in a restraunt that is warm), dizzy(not drinking), face turned pale white!!

And hands turned white and ice cold, trembling, shaking, trouble speaking, and difficulty thinking clearly.

In the past I have become abnormally tired after eating but nothing like this before.
Not a food allergy either.

If you are a Doctor, Nurse, or anything of this nature please reply.

I do have a Doctor's appointment on Feb 5th, just wondering if anyone had any clue's.

I came home and checked my blood sugar it got back up to 60 and then I ate some peanut butter and it was 128, 30 minutes later. I feel inclined to believe this is hypoglycemia. Like I am eating or drinking something that has alot of sugar and It's going sky high and then bottoming out!!
