no not really single digits like 8.0 and bellow is good after insulin because the insulin helps to break down the sugar but anything over is pretty high for after an injection. always go to diabetic appointments and a dietitian to help stable your blood levels.

Sounds good because you usually want to be at 90-120. Anything over 120 is not good. How much is it before insulin? Make sure that is under 120 too.

Yes, it shows very good control, by the way is it before meals or after meals? if it is after meals, fasting sugar should also be checked as fasting then may even be lower than that and one might need to decrease the dose of insulin.

HI what does mean after insulin. after administration one hour later or 2 hour later . acording to AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION(ADA)you should keep your blood sugar level at:
-80 mg/dl to 120 mg/dl before meals and 100 mg/dl to 140mg/dl at bedtime when using a blood sample drawn from a vein(a whole-blood sample)
-90 mg/dl to 130mg/dl before meals and 110 mg/dl to 150mg/dl at bedtime when using a blood sample drawn from a fingertip(plasma blood sample)
-less than 180 mg/dl one to two hours after meals/
so your blood sugar is good but you should avoid hipoglycemia.

Sounds OK to me but, it really depends on your body mass and metabolic rate. That's why they do so much blood work on you once you've been diagnosed.
