My nephew (8 YEARS) has Red bumps below his waist and one on his nose. He's in the hospital right now, he's been there for a couple of hours. They haven't taken blood out yet, so I was wondering if any of you have ever heard of this, or what could it be? He has pain in his legs and it hurts him to walk, the odd thing is that he only has the pain below his waist and all the bumps (except for the one on the nose) are on his legs. Could this be an allergy? Or Chicken Pox? I've never heard of Chicken Pox only in one part of the body, or pain on the legs.

P.S. I know the doctor will find out what it really is, but if anyone has ever heard of symptoms like these, I would appreciate it much if you could tell me what it could be. That way I won't be so worried, and I can calm my sister down.

Okay, So I FINALLY got up the nerve to go to an allergist (I'm deathly afraid of needles!)... even then it took everything I had not to totally freak out with the skin test and also the skin injections! So my question... is it really worth it to do the allergy shots? My allergist thinks so... I guess I'm scared too, b/c when I was a kid, a teacher in our school died from allergy shots! Some encourgement and advice please! :) thanks!

I am REALLY sensitive to dust and lately from where I take Benedryl a lot, I haven't been able to swallow pills. My throat will clsoe up and all I end up swallowing the water, with the pill still in my mouth. This would occasionally happen, but now all the time. what are some home remedies with fast allergy relief? I've had bad allergies ever since i was in 1st grade. When I get an allergy attack, it hits me good. Any remedies or suggestions? I don't want to go to a doctor and have them prick me 100 times with a needle to see what I am allergic too when I already know. Please help me. I need help now!!!!!

Just recently i have been diagnosed with I.B.S after illiminating foods i have discoverd i am intolerant to certain foods, mainly, bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, nuts and dairy. Whilst shopping today i got a bit hungry, while my sisters tucked into sandwiches etc i realised that noone anywhere catters for anyone with certain intolerances. ok some miss out glten, some wheat, some dairy, but not all. Ok so my intolerances are not life threatening and i could eat it, but it would cause me alot of discomfort. But what happens to people who have allergies to these things etc.

Another thing is price, when shopping in tesco they do a good range of products i can use/eat instead of the things i cant, but they cost so much, im a full time single mum of one, its extorsionate. Why do people who cant eat certain things have to pay so much more, its not our faults we cant eat them, i certainly wouldnt chose to be this way!

Does anyone elce find this a big issue??

My 5 yr old daughter is allergic to dairy, eggs, peanuts and treenuts. I was wondering if anyone out there has taken their child to Disneyland and if you had luck with the chefs making safe meals for your kids. I would like to take her to Ariel's Grotto and wonder if anyone has had experiences with them there. I would really like to take her there, but it wouldn't be worth it if she became ill.

My doc perscibed nasonex for my allergies. i often get headaches, and seem to have constant sinus pressure, however it used to be much worse, i would call it easily bareable now. I'm really creepied out by sticking something in my nose, not to mention actually squirting something up there.. so my question is, have you used nasonex, what were your experiences with it, and what would you say is your overall opinion towards the spray versus other allergy treatments?

thanks!!

I like to touch them, squeeze them, bite them and rub my cheek on them, and they don't have to be human noses. I like dogs and cats noses too.

She has a sore on her shoulder that she is being treated for. She also received her vaccinations today at the vet. About an hour after having her first pill, she's panting, scratching at her ears, running around like she doesn't know where to go. I have been holding her trying to get her to calm down. I tried to call the vet but got no answer. What should I do?

I've been having the following for the past 48 hrs:

- Excessive gas that smells sulphuric-like
- Excessive burping that smells and tastes sulphuric-like
- Excessive thirst, and frequent urination as a result
- Diarrehea that "floats"
- Cold intolerence
- Abdominal bloat

Could it be something that I have eaten? In the past 48 hrs the only thing I have really eaten are nuts (walnuts, almonds, natural peanut butter), oatmeal, gluten-free bread, chicken breast, and vegetables (peas, potatoes). I've never had issues with these foods before, so I don't know. Any ideas?
