Boil some water in a vessel and put 2-3 drops of either menthol or eucalaptus or camphor oil.(There is a handy medicine called Axe brand essential oil that contains all this.) Hold your head over the vessel n cover it with a towel so that the steam does not escape. Close your eyes. Inhale the medicated steam. This should clear off the clogged nose.
Hope this helps. Happy sleeping.

Always take your allergy medication at least two hours before retiring. Go take a long hot steamy shower breathing in the hot steam. Blow your noise gently. Do not close one nostril when blowing your noise. Make a saline solution with luke warm salt water and sniff the solution from the palm of your hand, one nostril at a time. the salt water should go though your noise and come out your mouth. Blow your noise gently afterward. Repeat the salt water wash 2 to 4 times a day. Drink extra fluids to thin mucus. Increase the humidity in your home, especially the bedroom. Avoid cold dry air. You have Sinusitis which often follows a cold and is associated with allergies ,and a abscessed tooth. Go to wwwwebmd.com for further information.

Do you have any Vick's, put some of that on you chest and cover your self real good, any kind of Mentholatum. Or if you have one them oil lamps I would put some Vick's to burn so you can get that nose breathing, menthol works...Put some in your nose if you have some a little in each nostril, I am suffering from the same thing, and sleep with two pillows facing upwards, only way to get it clear!

Try tasting some Chinese hot mustard or prepared wasabi. Those always make my nose try to run if I eat a little too much.
Also, make sure you are drinking enough water so you won't dehydrate. Even if you have a small fever, you could be losing lots of liquids. And your nose would be very dry as well.
Good luck!

Try using an ice pack on the bridge of your nose for about 15 minutes. It makes the vessels smaller and less puffy.

Breathe Right strip on the outside of your nose.
or
Saline nose drops (unless you have high blood pressure)
or see an allergist for an exam and prescription, possibly topical steroid nose drops (they don't have the side effects oral or injectable steroids do).
