I have been having really bad allergy problems since July and went to an allergist. He told me I was extremely allergic to chicken and egg white.
I love chicken and eggs, they are two of my favorite foods.
Can allergies to these foods cause sinus conditions, asthma and hay fever. I always thought allergies to foods, cause rashes, diarrhea, and other quick reactions, I never knew they could cause chronic problems such as sinus conditions.
When I got my flu shot they asked me if I was allergic to eggs, I said, "no", but nothing happened. I don't understand this.

Ive had PND for as long as i can remeber ive been to an ent and got an endoscopy. Everything was find he said my nose is gettin inflamed he gave me some nasal spray and that was that. I finished the nasal spray and my nose went back to bein stuffed. I bought some cheap nasal spray from wal mart and it actually works better than the presciption. So my nose stays clear but i still have a feeling of mucos stuck in my throat. I gargled with salt water, i used nasal washes nothing gets that feelin out. I really dont think i have a sinus infection cuz my mucos is clear and i dont have any sinus pains or anything. When i blow my nose real hard its like i can smell the mucos. If i rub my nose on my hand or arm i could smell a bad smell. My nose is dry also. This is giving me bad breath too I know its because that mucos build up but i cant flush it away. Any ideas on what it could be or how to move the mucos? Ive taken antihistamines and I drink plenty of water also.

My 6 month old has been on soy formula for the last 3 months because of what we thought were issues with the milk-based formula. We later found it was actually DHA that she has a problem with, and figured the milk wasn't the issue. Yesterday she had a tiny taste of baby yogurt (like no more than 1/4 tsp) and within less than 5 minutes was vomitting and heaving, which she's never done before. She was, however, perfectly fine afterwards and didn't cry once.

Can I chalk this up to coincidence, or can an allergic reaction actually happen that quickly?

I am sick and tired of taking antihistimine or allergy medicines because they only suppress the problems.

I have re-occuring sinus headaches that last for weeks at a time. How come they don't improve after it rains? I hear this helps and I don't get the relief!

I normally wear contact lenses, have atopic dermatitis, am allergic to smoke, and only wear special mascara for sensitive skin. First time I had this, I was told that my eyes started rejecting contact lenses so I've changed the type. A&E gave me erithromicin to treat possible infection, which I developed allergy for and refused to treat me further since the swell was gone. All four lids get swollen like a baloon and I can't move them and hardly see anything as well. White inner part also gets swollen on both eyes so I can't really move the eyes either. And it hurts like hell. Before that the puss is coming out in massive amounts both from upper and lower lids. It normally happens after the night out. I thought it was contact lenses; however, last night I was wearing glasses, so now I start thinking that it's the reaction to smoke. I had this 2 or 3 times with the old lens type and everything was good since I got new ones (about 2 months ago).

I am allergic to nickel. But many of my favorite earrings that i have are not nickel- free. If I wear them for one day i get an itchy irritation. Is there some kind of coating i can put on the metal part of the earrings to stop the nickel from coming in contact with my skin?

this is rare but for the last 2 years i have had a cough so bad that comes after a cold (sore throat, sneezing, chest congested, runny nose) then comes the cough that doesnt let me sleep cause i cough so much and sometimes makes me throw up also. i feel something between my neck and chest but dont know how to explain, its really not short of breath i think.. hard to explain. so this cough is how my 'cold" ends" for last 2 years .. also when i go out and its winter time ,it gets worst..cant seem to breathe normal while walking and i got to catch my breath when i go up stairs and windy days. my doctor said its allergy asthma due to the cold but i dont understand it at all and want more info on how i can get help with cough. she gave me albuterol inhaler, to drink tea with honey, halls lozenges and nasal spray. This is not helping when my cough gets bad.

I'm 21 and I just recently came down with allergies (sarting when I was 19), especially during the springtime.

I take a tae kwon do class, and I often get so dizzy during the exercises (spinning kicks, etc.) that I have to sit down, or else I feel like I might pass out. Is that normal? When I take an Allegra pill, the dizziness isn't as bad...

Have you ever heard or ran across a play doh product with peanut oil used as an ingredient? I know it isn't play-doh brand as it contains wheat but it's some off brand. I ask b/c I work with child care providers and someone was telling a story about a child breaking out in hives after using this dough product that had peanut oil in it. They immediately threw it away and didn't recall the brand name. I'd like to warn other providers about it but can't find anything online, or I'm using the wrong search terms. Any help would be appreciated!

I read some old questions but my experience is a lil different. I get a headach immedietly afther taking one sip of alcholol. Not beer. It doesnt matter if it is wine or hard liquer either. i recently tried to celebrate my birthday by having drinks with friends and only had 1/4th of my drink before the headach began. Im not even a social drinker but i do like to celebrate special occasions this is a bummer. I read this is allergy to wheat? I dont get this reaction from other wheat products.

I used to be really healthy, but last year I suddenly got acne on my face and back and I gained 10 kgs. I managed to lose the weight by changing my diet to a healthier one, I became a vegetarian. I also stopped eating chocolate and greasy food because of acne.
I have had sharp šain in my stomach and areas around heart lately and that occurs after almost every cooked meal I eat, it could be something very plain like pasta, but the reaction is still the same. I can`t even eat onions anymore, that almost killed me not so long ago. A few years ago I could eat whatever I wanted.
I have been very stressed lately, absolutely everything causes stress and sweating. Do you think it could be stress?
I am in a lot of pain this moment and I don`t know what to do, there is a box of flu pills near me and I just wihs to swallow a few now, I know I shouldn`t but the pain is huge.
Any advice?

Is there a natural product? I don't want any pills, sprays or anything "drug" ever again after this Afrin thing. I never knew you could get addicted to it. In my case it is the nasal swelling that keeps me using it, not a drug. Right now, the swelling is pretty much gone, but I am still using a really small amount (one spray in each nostral in the middle of the night).

my nose on the outside is always red and itchy, it just started today, i cant leave it alone, could this be some kind of a infection, i dont have a runny nose at all though, some people say that maybe i have a infection inside my nose but i dont no, cause its the out side of it which is itchy, not the inside

I have been to an ent and just got forwarded to an allergist. I havent gone there yet, but it started about 5 years ago (I am now 30). It is like water. It drips like a faucet all day. The only thing that stops it is when I take a steroid nasal spray that stops it up. First thing in the morning...it is back to the water hose. I just dont understand where it all comes from. It gets completely embarrassing when I have to blow my nose ever 20 seconds and then I have a raw nose...HELP!
